Replacement headlight switch for 85 - 92 Golf and Jetta models. It is common to have the internal headlight switch contacts go bad which usualy causes the highbeams to cut out. There are 2 different switches for USA models, 85 - early 90 and 90 - 92 . The VIN # split is 1G-L-006600. 1990 cars with a number lower than 006600 select the 85 - early 90 switch.
