Weitec GT Strut and Spring kit for Vw and Audi. Weitec springs are made of chrome silicate steel that is progessively wound and powder coated. Weitec struts are twin tube, gas charged dampers that are matched to the selected drop and specific model and engine combination. Available in different ride heights to suit different drivers requirements. Most kits have shortened struts assemblies and 5 position rear spring height adjustment of +or- 20mm. Includes 4 Struts and 4 springs. Pictured: A2 - A3 kit top, A4 kit bottom. Strut mounts are recomended to be replaced if they have more than 30,000 miles on them. The bumpstops on worn suspensions are commonly damaged. It is a good idea to check them. The bumpstop kits are sized for the selected drop . NOTE: A1 models use Front strut inserts and only have a 40mm drop option, A3 Golf , Jetta 2.0 1996 model year check the vehicle identification number and production date on inside of drivers door.
